Description

Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Albino Tadpole Shrimp Starter Kit Plus

Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Albino come from Europe and stem from the Triops Cancriformis. Due to a defect in their genes, they lack color pigments in their body. Although they appear red, they are actually transparent - colorless. They receive their red color from their own blood, leading to red appearance of this Triops-species. In their husbandry they are, just like the Cancriformis, very modest.

The Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Albino are considered peaceful and quiet. They feel completely fulfilled when they are able to just dig up the sand of their aquarium for hours. However, when searching for food, they also swim a few laps through his living room - your aquarium. Temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius are generally sufficient for this Triops-species, to provide them with a pleasant climate they can thrive in.
He has a short tail, which is why he usually comes out as one of the shortest Triops when measured. As a result, he cannot keep up with a Longicaudatus or Australiensis  Queensland in swimming. In addition to its short tail, you can also recognize a Beni Kabuto ebi Albino by its red color. Mostly, his shell still exhibits a slight marbling.

In the first one to two weeks he also eats Spirulina algae, just like other Triops-species. He does so by filtering them out of the water with its gills. Our Young Animal Feed 100% Spirulina powder you will receive as part of this set. In addition, you will receive our main food, with which you can feed the Triops, after slightly crushing it, from the age of about two weeks.

Two weeks old Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Alinos can produce their own Triops-eggs. When their egg sacs are bulging with Triops-eggs, these will be buried in the sand. How you can start breeding your second Triops generation, you will know after clicking the following link: How to properly prepare Triops-eggs
