Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Albino Tadpole Shrimp Starter Kit

The Beni Kabuto ebi Albino which is related to the Triops Cancriformis also comes from Central Europe. Due to their ancestors, they also feel very comfortable at lower temperatures of 22-24th ° Celsius. Its red color does not come from red pigments in the shell, as you may think. They appear red due to their own blood, which shines through their otherwise transparent skin which results from a genetic error.

Known as a rather quiet Triops-species, Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Albino swim merrily through the aquarium but their favorite activity, however, is still digging in the sand. The key characteristic of these Triops-species are the red color of their body and a very short tail. Often, their armor exhibits a slight marbling which enhances their aesthetics even more.

As Triops filter their food out of the water in the first few days of their lives, you will find our young animal feed included in this set. It consists of 100% Spirulina blue-green algae. This food is very suitable and easily digestible for the Triops.
