Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Albino Tadpole Shrimp Starter Kit Ultra
Triops Beni Kabuto ebi Albino are an albino version of the Cancriformis. Accordingly, they do not differ from the Cancriformis in the way they can be kept. They also like 22 °C as water temperature. These very peaceful Tadpole Shrimp love to dig in the sand the whole day. They tend to only swim when they are looking for food. Due to their short tails, they are not exactly the fastest swimmers, however, this does not do any harm to the pleasure they have in it. This Triops-species has a genetic error, which leads to a lack of color pigments in their bodies. Their bright red color results from their own blood which is red and shines through their otherwise colorless body. Their shell is often exhibits a whitish-transparent tabby marbling.
Beni Kabuto ebi Albino live off bacteria and our young animal feed for two weeks, the latter of which consists of 100% Spirulina blue-green algae. They filter these out of the water. Once the Triops grow bigger, they can also take on more solid food with their teeth, such as our rearing feed, main feed or Cichlid granulate.
