Description

Triops Cancriformis Mallorca

Triops Cancriformis often live in cooler areas, where the ponds do not dry out as quickly as in desert regions, so this species is very good in summer to keep without heaters. This means for the Triops that he has more time to develop. Therefore, Triops Cancriformis are considered to be the slower growing member of the shrimp. They are the Triopsart with the largest life expectancy, since their metabolism works relatively slowly. The highest expected age is about 120 days. Since Triops never stop growing, the largest total length is to be expected in this species. Triops Cancriformis have an often beefy skull plate and a comparatively short tail.

These offsprings are from Mallorca, this strain is much redder than the Cancriformis Germany or Austria.
